ASPCA

This is an amazing story about a dog named Chuck. According to the ASPCA, Chuck overcame immense obstacles to make an amazing and “astonishing” transformation.

The beautiful dog was found about 6 months ago abandoned and unable to walk at all on his hind legs because of previous fractures that he had sustained. One of the doctors from the ASPCA said he had severe and painful arthritis and atrophy of the muscles in the hips and legs due to not using them. Through a surgical procedure that Chuck had, he is now able to walk again. He may never be “normal” again, but he is able to walk and enjoy his life now. He continues with physical therapy.

The ASPCA shows an incredibly heartwarming video of Chuck’s recovery. He is always holding a chew toy in his mouth as they help him to learn to walk again – and even to run.

The ASPCA has made believers out of so many that they are a truly honorable society that helps animals. Chuck is a special needs dog and is looking for a home. If you’re interested in adopting him, please call the Adoption Center located in New York City at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
